Mornings can be a whirlwind of decisions; what to wear, how to style your hair, and which accessories will pull everything together. We've all stood in front of the mirror, staring at our reflection, wondering if our outfit feels right for the day ahead.

Whether you're dressing for a busy workday, a casual brunch, or a special night out, it's sometimes that final touch that ties everything together. A well-chosen anklet can be that perfect piece, adding just the right amount of flair. Knowing how to wear anklets can be the secret to nailing your look, no matter the occasion.

If you've ever felt the frustration of an outfit that seems almost right but not quite, you're not alone. Let's dive into the world of anklets and unlock the tips and trends that will have you stepping out the door feeling like you've truly put the finishing touches on your outfit.

How to Choose the Right Anklet for Every Occasion

Anklets have become a must-have accessory for fashion-conscious individuals. What was once a traditional symbolic piece in ancient cultures has become a versatile and stylish addition to modern wardrobes. When it comes to choosing the perfect anklet, the occasion plays an important role.

For casual everyday wear, simplicity is key. A thin, delicate chain anklet can add a touch of elegance to your look without overpowering it.

These anklets pair beautifully with:

  • Jeans
  • Sundresses
  • Athleisure

You want something that feels effortless but still adds that extra bit of charm.

For formal events, you'll want to elevate your anklet game. Opt for anklets with intricate designs or those embellished with pearls or crystals.

These types of anklets complement formal dresses and skirts to add a subtle sparkle that enhances your overall appearance. It's about striking the right balance between sophistication and style.

When heading to the beach or on vacation, summer anklet styles take the spotlight. Think beaded anklets, shell designs, and vibrant colors that scream summer.

These anklets are perfect for pairing with:

  • Swimsuits
  • Shorts
  • Light dresses

They bring a carefree, playful vibe to your outfit, which makes them ideal for those laid-back summer days.

Finally, if you're hitting the gym or going for a sporty look, consider minimalistic and durable anklets. Leather or braided cord anklets are excellent choices, as they withstand wear and tear while still looking stylish.

The key here is to keep it functional yet fashionable to ensure your anklet doesn't get in the way during your workout.

Styling Tips for Different Outfits

Anklets can transform your outfit when styled correctly. For those who love dresses and skirts, pairing an anklet with these pieces can highlight your legs and add a feminine touch.

If you're wearing a short dress or a skirt, a dainty anklet can draw attention to your ankles, giving your look a delicate, graceful finish. On the other hand, if your dress is long or flowing, opt for a slightly more noticeable anklet, perhaps with a charm or small pendant, to ensure it doesn't get lost in the fabric.

When it comes to shorts and capris, anklets really come into their own. Wearing anklets with shoes like sandals or espadrilles can accentuate your legs and add a touch of personality to your outfit.

Whether it's a simple gold chain or a more elaborate design, the anklet becomes a focal point that ties your whole look together. If you're going for a boho-chic style, consider layering multiple anklets for a more eclectic, free-spirited vibe.

Pairing anklets with pants or jeans is all about how you cuff or roll your pants. If you're wearing skinny jeans or tapered pants, cuff them slightly above the ankle to show off your anklet. This look works especially well with heels or flats, where the anklet can peek out and add a subtle touch of glamour.

How to Wear Anklets with Other Accessories

Accessories can make or break an outfit, and anklets are no exception. When it comes to matching anklets with other jewelry, coordination is key.

For example, if you're wearing a silver anklet, try to match it with silver rings or bracelets to create a harmonious look. If you prefer gold, keep your accessories in the same metal family for a more put-together appearance.

Accessorizing with anklets also involves considering your footwear. When you're wearing sandals, an anklet can be a perfect complement, especially in the summer. For a casual look, pair a beaded anklet with flip-flops or slides.

If you're dressing up, a delicate chain anklet with strappy sandals can add just the right amount of sophistication. The goal is to ensure your anklet enhances your footwear rather than competes with it.

Color coordination is another important aspect. If your outfit is neutral, a colorful anklet can serve as an eye-catching statement piece. Conversely, a simple, understated anklet might be the better choice if your outfit is bold and vibrant.

Caring for Your Anklets

Anklets, like any other jewelry, require proper care to maintain their appearance and longevity. Gold and silver anklets should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth to remove any dirt or tarnish. Avoid using harsh chemicals, as they can damage the metal.

When it comes to beaded or fabric anklets, it's important to keep them away from water as much as possible. Moisture can weaken the string and cause beads to lose their shine.

Storing your anklets properly is also essential. Keep them in a jewelry box or a soft pouch to prevent them from getting tangled or scratched.

Hypoallergenic

All of our jewelry is 100% nickel and lead-free.

925 Sterling Silver

Our sterling silver jewelry is white-gold-plated sterling silver. Please keep in mind when shopping, we have some products that are silver colored, but not sterling silver. Those silver colored pieces are made with white-gold-plated brass.

Demi-Fine (Vermeil)

Ver-what? Repeat after us: ver-may (simple, right?) Now that you’ve got the pronunciation down, let’s talk details. Our jewelry is always created with high quality materials, but our Vermeil pieces take it to the next level with 18k gold, that’s 2.5 microns thick, layered over sterling silver and real, slightly included round-cut diamonds. This exclusive line brings a little luxury to your everyday, especially when properly cared for.

In order to be Vermeil, jewelry must meet the following quality conditions:

  • Base material is sterling silver (92.5% pure silver + 7.5% other materials)
  • Gold plating must be at least 10k (karats)
  • Plating is at least 2.5 microns thick (1 micron = 1/1000th of a millimeter)

Variations in Gold Hue

There are natural variations in all metals, and these variations are very common in gold. The reason being is that molecules of the base metal slowly transfer into the layer of gold. The variation in hue you are seeing is based on different alloys in the gold mix that can change how gold appears.

Orders over $50 (excluding promo codes and taxes) will receive FREE ground shipping in the United States.
