Moissanite Spark
A sparkle that began with a falling star
The story of moissanite starts in the Arizona desert, where a meteor struck about 50,000 years ago. Today you can wear that sparkle.
Found in a meteor crater
Moissan was studying rock from Meteor Crater when he spotted crystals that sparkled like diamonds. They turned out to be a new gem, and in 1905 it was named moissanite in his honor.
Natural moissanite is too rare to mine, so every stone in this collection is created in a lab, with the same makeup as the crystals from that crater.
Made to sparkle every day
Moissanite bends light more than a diamond does, so it throws flashes of rainbow fire every time you turn your hand. It is hard enough to wear every day, from Sunday service to dinner out.
We set each stone in 925 sterling silver plated in platinum for a bright white shine. Every piece arrives in a gift-ready box with its own certificate, and you'll find its carat weight listed under Details.
